Epi-LASIK

• This involves lasering the cornea under the epithelium.
• This is done in our theatre under sterile conditions.
• This is undertaken by lifting the epithelium with a blunt edged separator.
• This avoids the risks associated with LASIK, e.g. flap problems.
• There is usually less discomfort following Epi-LASIK than PRK.
