National Eye Week

9th - 15th November 2009

The Eyecare Trust runs their annual awareness campaign - National Eye Week, starting on 9^th November. This campaign seeks to promote the importance of looking after your eyes and making regular visits to an eyecare professional.

Times are tough at the moment and people's priorities may be neglecting their vision. However, this week seeks to remind everyone not to miss vital check-ups. Keeping your eyes healthy not only is important in order for people to have sight for life, but the eye is also a great indicator of overall health.
