- This involves lasering the cornea under the epithelium.
- This is done in our theatre under sterile conditions.
- This is undertaken by lifting the epithelium with a blunt edged separator.
- This avoids the risks associated with LASIK, e.g. flap problems.
- There is usually less discomfort following Epi-LASIK than PRK.
