What is Lasik ?
Lasik is short for Laser In-situ Keratomileusis.
It is a complex surgical procedure combining microsurgery to create a thin flap of the cornea by using a microkeratome and the precision of the Excimer laser to reshape the cornea.
Watch this short clip on Lasik being performed with the Hansotome Microkeratome and Excimer laser.
