What is Prelex Refractive Lens Exchange?

Presbyopia is the deterioration of your vision due to age, as you get older the natural lens within your eye loses its ability to focus. Presbyopia affects the near vision of both eyes and can begin as early as 40 depending upon the individual.
We can halt the process of presbyopia by exchanging your own natural lens for a multi-focal lens implant. By doing so in both eyes, you will regain your ability to focus at all distances without the need for glasses in most patients.
